In an effort to eliminate the inconvenience of the adult signature requirement on wine, Wine.com has dramatically simplified the wine shipping process, ensuring you never miss a wine delivery again.
Local Pickup offers the same convenience of Wine.com online shopping and date-specific delivery, with the added benefit of allowing customers to select one of over 2,000 FedEx office locations as their delivery address. Since wine deliveries require signatures from an adult over 21, this added feature, the first of its kind, benefits customers who are unable to wait at home to sign for wine. Instead, they specify a date of delivery to their preferred FedEx office location. Customers then receive a call and e-mail when the wine arrives, and will have up to five days to retrieve. With a multitude of FedEx office locations offering evening and weekend hours, the new program only adds to the convenience of shopping with Wine.com.
